This week’s dogs are a mix of puppies to young adults and are small to medium in size. We have a variety of fun and interesting breed mixes as well. Come by to meet your new best friend or just to say “Hi”.

Adult dogs:

Bunker - Who could resist this small-sized, 2 year old bundle of cute? We call him Bunker and he is Bunkerific! He has a gently sweet personality, we can’t imagine why he was dumped and left to roam the streets! Our best guess is he's a Spaniel  or a Mini Aussie mix. We are lucky to have him in residence at The Ranch, but a forever home, where his "cuteness personified" is welcomed, would be best for this sweet boy!

Jenny is about 2 years old, with dramatic black spots on white. Medium in size with a placid mellow disposition, she may be a "hound-with-who-knows-what" mix. Short low-maintenance coat and medium energy level makes her an easy to care for dog. Rescued from abandonment in a field, she's adapted well to Ranch life, but would be truly happy to be your "forever girl".

Rosie is one stunning girl, and pictures don't do her justice. I'm not making this up - she looks like a blue brindle Whippet mix. As her coat is growing in, it is plushy with marcel waves. Her tail has to be seen to be believed. It resembles a bottle brush with curly fur??? Kerry Blue Terrier in the mix??? She was found in SJC, sickly and alone. Our special volunteer nursed her back to health and what a beauty she is. Rosie is about 6 months old and is going to grow up to be one gorgeous sweetheart of a dog.

Salvador is a 2 year old black and tan we’re thinking Schnauzer Husky mix. He is medium sized but is willing to sit on laps if you’ll let him. Salvador has startlingly striking ice blue eyes lined with black, and coarse rather than wiry, easy-groom fur. Salvador is one cool dude, and would love to take you on walks through the village or just sit and cuddle on the couch.

Tom-Tom is a 2 year old Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier mix. He is blond with rust highlights and really a handsome fellow. He doesn't always play well with others so would be best with training or as an only dog. Tom-Tom is a high energy boy but then is happy to settle down for snuggles and hugs. We fluffed Tom-Tom’s coat and the picture doesn’t look much like him now.

Puppies in the Puppy Pen
We have our Puppertunity pups: "Martín" (male) "Tula" (female) "Día" (female) "Jayden" (male) "Pola" (female) and "Kaylee" (female). Which one is which? I can't tell. You'll just have to come and meet them in person! These lucky pups were rescued from neglect, but are now happy and healthy "kids", all ready to go to good homes. They are about 9 weeks old, love play, cuddling, and napping. Their breed is hound/pitbull mix. Based on the size of their mommy, we expect that they will be medium sized when they grow up.

We also have four puppies from another litter in foster. They are Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) mixed with ?? so they will probably also be medium sized. We think they are between 2 and 3 months old, and we have a photo of one of them.

All our Ranch dogs are neutered, current on their 6 way shots and rabies. Puppies have had some shots and been wormed, but most are not yet altered. We will pay for altering when they are old enough. There is no charge for adoption, but donations are gratefully accepted. For photos and pictures of all our dogs please see our Website:
