Chapala webboard

Post by Abrria on Wed Jun 27, 2018 3:44 pm

Chapala webboard...does anyone know what is going on there. The format has changed and I can't get into any of the forums.

Muchas gracias.

Format changed since when? I see no difference other than it is up and down like a yo-yo.

No I don't think they changed anything. They look just the same and their webpage sometime times out because it sometimes takes so long to connect or go to the next post or topic.

Delete whatever you have in your bookmarks and then try this...
http://www.chapala.com/webboard/

I know it "looks" the same but it's not. They are backing to having ID numbers on individual threads so that you can bookmark a thread if it's of interest to you. I have a bookmark file with threads of interest to me... works a whole lot better than their search function does when I need to refer to something.

I think it's now called the Angus/Tiny/Pappy show.

Slainte’s right. I still say Angus reminds me a lot of Rich.

They're one and the same, aren't they?

Agree with Slainte too but he forgot looneycoons.

It really gets fun when Chillin tries to play ombudsman to that cast of characters with his professor's hat on.

I have been getting in. The secret is, at least for me, is once I have left-click on a link or command, to simply wait a second or four, before I try again which I almost never have to do, if I always wait.

Good luck. Oh and Ned Small, Nedro, AKA Pedro doesn't seem to be posting these days. He will be back under another name.

This board or TOB?
Who cares Pete, unless you were just posting an infomercial.   Very Happy
I can't imagine anyone waiting breathlessly for his next post.

It is just that I find what he thinks is a factual or exaggerated about him, to be terribly funny.

I don't find anything funny, amusing, or entertaining about him at all.

Slainte, otoh, was hilarious.

I find him tedious and boring. Pedro/Ned Small not Slainte.

He shares a quality with the Twitterer in Chief: an attention junkie.

I find him to be a bully, a bullshiter, and a misogynist with an out of control ego. Apart from that, I have no opinion on him . . . Very Happy

According to someone on TOB Pedro is ill (again/still). Ned Small seems unable to post whenever Pedro is sick, suspended, or otherwise unavailable. Funny how that happens.

Ooooops, he did it again! Pedro got bounced from TOB. Straight from MC himself this announcement.

“He was an imposter. The other boards tossed him well before we did. After his last round of personal attack the Moderating team decided enough was enough and ended the fiction. We decided that if he was too abusive for TOB he sure was the same for this one.
End of story.”

Adios, Ned Small.

Until he raises his head again but like Bennie, they’re both easy to spot when they can no longer resist us.

But he needs a platform from which to spout his BS. He will change IP #s (he knows how. He used to have a web board of his own, that everyone abandoned) He will get a new name and fake picture and another email address with this new name, and unless things have changed, he will try and try to come back until he succeeds.

His unique stile of posting will eventually ID him and his new account will also be banned. Which is probably best even though I enjoy laughing at him when posts about how famous his Friend Don Pedro is('nt).
