Closed on my house today.

If I do say so myself, I got one hell of a deal. It will be finished by July 2. Bought all my appliances at Tio Sam's with the builder's discounts & got a 32" Sony Bravia LCD on sale as well for about $487.50 US.
Someone who saw the house already wants to buy it from me but it's mine, all mine & will stay that way.

Yep we are at the two year countdown now. Roof Bob's building us a house right across the street from his (wink, wink). We are gonna run a zip line in between.......jaja.

We were talking with our friends about that exact same thing last time we were down. Not really a commune per say.....more like 3 couples pitching in on a elegant hacienda, splitting it up somewhat so everyone has some privacy when desired but sharing some of the common things (pool, hot tub, upkeep, etc.). Something like that big white Taj Mahal thats for sale on the hill in upper Chula Vista.
