Our cat got really sick yesterday so we called Dr. Eric, the vet who's office is across the street from the mercado in Chapala. He came over within 15 minutes, did an extensive exam, gave the cat a couple of shots and instructions on overnight care. Then he returned today for a follow up exam and said he would come by tomorrow with a 4 day supply of pills.

Our cat is feeling much better and the prognosis is he will back to happy in a couple of days. The cost for 3 home visits, 2 shots and a 4 day supply of pills? 200 pesos.

Wow......200 pesos is unbelieveable. That's great to hear. Did he say what he figured was wrong with him?
