Jalisco Driver's License Test

Post by Lobo2626 on Tue Apr 13, 2010 12:11 pm

Anyone needing to study the test can find it on my website Retired In Mexico. Look in the Mexico Section. The English translation is a bit confusing at times, but I did the best I could. It's available for study or download, in EspaƱol and English. The correct answers are marked.

I'd help you fine tune it if you want and give me credit. I have little time but could dictate and tell you.

The actual test is conducted on a computer, consisting of 20 multi choice questions. A_B_C_D not very hard all or most commen sense. Br sure to ask for a chofer licence of 4 years duration. We took ours at Tlajomulco.

In GDL, if you want it in English, it is with pencil and paper, although Spanish is touchscreen computer. They were also nice enough to show me the photo that they took, and ask me if it was OK, or did I want a retake. Zoey

When we took the written test in Guad., they gave it to us in English along with a sheet with the correct answers clearly marked. They were most helpful and we passed. cheers

I once took the California DL test at some out-of-the-way little town in a largely Latino area. There was no table, so I just marked the test at the clerk's window were the answers were in plain sight under glass.

Glad you passed. Too funny. This explains some of the crazy driving we see down here. One of the things that scares me the most is being on a three or four lane divided highway in GDL and watching someone make a left or right hand turn from the farthest lane, rather than the closest. That one still shakes me up a bit. Zoey

Yeah and if you think driving is freaky in Guad. try Mexico City sometime. I'm told to get a drivers license there it's 50 pesos and no tests, written or driving.

LOL. NOt for me. Tried NYC, once, for a few minutes. Scared me to death and Mexico City is twice as large. NO thanks. GDL is about the worst I have ever handled and do not need more. Funny post, though. Zoey
